Connecting Vision with Stone

PACKAGING
We follow the safe packing of granite products is a well-established practice, ensuring that the stone is protected during transportation. Key elements of this packing method include:
-
Reinforced Wooden Crates: Granite slabs are packed in sturdy wooden crates, which are designed to withstand the weight and fragility of the stone. These crates are often constructed from high-quality timber that provides durability and strength.
-
Cushioning Materials: High-density foam, Styrofoam, or other cushioning materials are used to line the inside of the crates. This padding absorbs shocks and prevents direct contact between slabs, minimizing the risk of scratches and damage.
-
Wrapping: Each granite slab is wrapped in protective materials such as bubble wrap or plastic sheeting. This individual wrapping helps protect the surface from scratches, dust, and moisture.
-
Spacers and Straps: To prevent movement within the crate, spacers made of foam or wood are placed between slabs, and straps or bands are used to secure the slabs in place. This method reduces the risk of chipping or cracking during transit.
-
Container Loading Techniques: For larger shipments, careful loading techniques are employed. Crates are strategically placed and secured inside shipping containers to prevent shifting, with additional bracing used to stabilize the load.
-
Moisture Protection: Some packing methods include moisture-resistant treatments or liners to protect granite from humidity and moisture damage during transport, especially when shipping to international destinations.
-
Quality Checks: Before shipment, the packaging undergoes rigorous inspection to ensure that all materials are intact and that the packing meets safety standards.
